The Place Pad
function is used to create a pad, a via, or a mounting hole.
When you select this function, a dialog box will appear which will prompt you to enter the several parameters needed for the construction of the desired pad.
The default pad placement parameters are re-loaded each time you edit an existing pad. This feature aids in replication of existing data structures.
