The Place Text
function is used to create an ASCII text string for labeling purposes.
When you select this function, a dialog box will appear which will prompt you to enter the destination layer, text size, rotational angle, and anchor point.
The default text placement parameters are re-loaded each time you grab or edit an existing text string. This feature aids in replication of existing data structures.
