5.3a

Program:
The Resequence Components function will now create a log file detailing the changes made.
The Netlist In log file has been made into an interactive report.
The Image Processing section of the Edit menu has changes and additions.
The Printer Output now supports Post Script and PDF file to disk.

5.3b
Program:
The Gerber Output box has been improved to correct for aberrant Windows draw commands that caused the layer tables to not display correctly in some conditions.
The Netscan functions have been improved to better process dimension lines on drawing layers.
The Flood Fill function has been improved to handle bulged lines.
The Block Mirror X/Y functions now correctly process buldged lines.

Program:
An import filter has been added for Protel version 6 PCB files.
An interactive report for IPC has been added.
A work-around for a Windows® drawing bug has been installed in to the Gerber Output dialog box.

Program:
Removed optimization from the Visual Studio 6 compiler to eliminate crashing problems.

Program:
The Track Isolation Output function now has CNC output data.
A GenCAD input and output translator has been added.
A the Block Build Component dialog box for schematics has the Symbol and Pattern fields corrected.
The Pad Master layer now cannot be disabled. This corrects some anomalous drawing conditions.
The Gerber Out function will now create a "composite stack-up" of all of the individual Gerber files of ease of review.


5.3f
Program:
Invalid character will now be removed from signal names.
A bug has been removed from the display of pads that have dimensions specified in both metric and inches.
The Netlist Export (Netlist Out) dialog box now has a option to perform a more stringent scan for erroneous errors.
The Setup Options dialog box now has an option to have CIRCAD reside in the system tool tray.
Rotated rectangular pads will no longer be plotted 1 mil too large.
The "BMP to disk" function from the Plotter Out dialog box has been converted to "Pixel array to disk" and supports multiple output formats.
