Program:
Net Scan + and Net Scan - have been implemented.
File Erase has been implemented.
Auto via placement has been implemented.
All menus now grey out items that are not available.

Block layers now auto excludes layer that are disabled for display.
Block mirror X and Y now process newly placed schematic dots.
The Remove All File Names function on the Re-Open menu has been implemented.
Pixel images have been moved to the Edit menu.
Dialog:
The image editor can now re-size pixel images.
The Select Layer box now has numbers preceding the layer names.
Display:
ALT-V now resets the panning parameters.
Multi-line text now displays properly while panning.

Program:
A bug has been removed that would cause a lockup condition when clicking the the Nets or the Delete menu on an new (empty) file.
A progress indication has been added to the Net Scan Log function.
Log files will now be written by default. This can be disables in the Setup Options dialog box.
A less flexible but more compact disk file format is available in the Setup Options dialog box.
File Save is now always available, even if the file has not been modified. This feature can be disabled in the Setup Options dialog box.
Highlighted items will now display on top of all other layers.

Program:
A bug introduced in 5.00c that did not save filled solids correctly when written to disk has been removed.
A set of "Data will be lost" warning messages for the export filters.

Program:
A Quick Zoom dialog box has been added.
A bug in the Protel AutoTrax export filter not rotating arcs correctly has been removed.
The Protel AutoTrax import filter has been added.
A bug has been removed from the Un-Do of a deleted vertex.
An option has been added to show all readouts in metric when a metric grid snap is active.
The "standard" Windows file open box has been added as an option.
Number processing has been added the text editor.

A units tab has been added to the Setup Parameters dialog box.

A flood feature has been added to the pixel image processor.
A bug has been removed from the image ortho-rectification function.
An export filter for version 3 (DOS CIRCAD) data files has been added.
The 45° cursor has been added to the place line function.
A bug has been removed from the Grid Align Components function.
An option to start CIRCAD in "Maximized" mode has been added. This is to keep the status bar visible if the Windows® taskbar is not in "Auto-hide" mode.

Program:
A bug has been removed that would cause a crash when encountering a component that contained no data elements. Theses components will now be deleted on input.
A bug has been removed from the Netlist In function when placing components from a graphic library.
Tooltip messages have been added to the file bar.
The text editor now has the ability to add and remove words from the lexicon.
The process of converting a data file from inches to metric has been streamlined.
Gerber output now supports metric data file format.
File navigation via the mouse buttons has been implemented.
