Program:
The Netlist menu now has a Pinlist report function.
A minor bug has been removed from the Edit Components function that caused it to not always update component parameters that had been modified.
Arc angles less than 1 degree are now processed properly.
The Grab Component function has been expanded to also grab vias attached to the component.
Dialogs:
A minor bug has been removed from the Load new image function from the Setup Pixel Image dialog box. The "Files of type" field had the incorrect filter.
The Plotter Out dialog box now has an option to send the output to the plotting device without the copper tracks.

The Place menu now has a function to place an arc graphically.
The Grab menu now has a function to grab the end of an arc and expand/compress it.

The cursor "size" has been reduced from 1 grid snap to 1 pixel. This will allow grabbing of items when zoomed out even if you are not on the exact x,y point.
The Plotter Out function has had non-proportional font processing added.
Special processing for exceptionally large arcs has been added.
A bug that caused circles and arcs larger than 32768 pixels to not be "ghosted" has been removed.
Dialogs:
The query boxes now will respond to arrow key and absolute cursor movement commands.
The Place Component function has had a bug removed. When placing components from a graphics library with an alternate library path specified CIRCAD'98 would crash.
The Setup Library Files dialog box will now initialize correctly when an alternate library path is specified.

CIRCAD'98 will now accept a clipboard paste from Windows (CTRL V) if the clipboard contains pixel image data.
The Setup menu now has a function to set the scaling factor of the X/Y dimension line.
The Netlist Out function will now check to see that All Reference ID's have a leading alpha character.
The component parameters Type/Value, Modifier, and footprint have been expanded to 24 characters.
Dialogs:
The Query Image dialog box has been expanded to include pixel editing functions for pixel images.

A defined block has been changed from reverse video to an animated dashed line.
An attached pixel image will now show grid lines when zoomed in.
The Query menu now has a Zoom Window function.
The cursor will now change between crass hair and pointer mode when rolling over the Quick Zoom and Query Image boxes.
Blocks will no longer auto release after any function.

The Plotter Output Setup dialog box now has an option to send data to the plotter in PCL (Printer
Control Language) format. This is supported by Hewlett Packard printers.
The Plotter Output Setup dialog box now has an option to send data to the plotter is a GDI (Graphical
Device Interface). While this protocol will yield slightly inaccurate results, it will handle large files.

The Setup Options function now has an option for setting the crosshair cursor 3 pixels wide as opposed to 1. This is particularly useful during reverse engineering projects.
The Edit Single Component function has been added to replace the the old style Edit Component dialog box.
The Block menu has the ability to disable the Animated Primeter block and restore it to the old style shadded area.
The File New dialog box now has an option to select a Specialty Template File. This let users create new template files while preserving the originals.
The text library system has been augmented to include a "placekeeper" to omit pins on schematic components.
The DXF import filter will no longer put any data on the Pad Master (layer 0) layer.
Data that is on a layer that has had the "Video Disabled" option selected in the Setup Layers dialog box can no longer be modified.

The Setup Pixel Image menu now has a function for Ortho-Rectification of the image. This will greatly help the scaling and stretching of images for reverse engineering projects.
