Program:
The Block Polyline and Place Filled Solid functions now observe the ortho snap mode.
The sine/cosine values have been enhanced for greater accuracy when drawing arcs and ellipses.

Gerber in:
The Gerber in function will now process oblong apertures.
4.08d and 4.08e
The full versions were released internaly only and contain code for the autorouter.

Dialogs:
The Plotter Out dialog box now has an option to select the BitsPer Pixel of the file that is passed to Windows for printing. This will allow physically larger images to be printed.

Dialogs:
The Setup Options now has a selection to release the CIRCAD screen after 1 minute. This will prevent crashes on some computers when entering sleep mode.

Program:
The Place menu now has a XY Dimension function.
The block menu now has a function to delete everything outside of the block.

Program:
The File Select function has been modified such that if there are 10 or fewer files open they will be selectable directly from the menu rather than a separate dialog box.
A Resequence Components funciton has been added. Components may now be renumbered by a varity of parameters.
Gerber out:
The Gerber out function will now create the .sym file automatically.
The Drill tape data box is now a component that CIRCAD'98 can locate and insert the drill tape data into when generating Gerber files . To take advantage of this update you must download new template files.
Dialogs:
The Edit Component dialog box has been changed to Edit Components. This will allow you to view a list of all of the components on a drawing.
The Setup Options now has a selection to open all files with the same file prefix. This option will open all files names Zarf.(everything) when you open Zarf.(anything).
